Terms and Conditions

  1. Information on participation of the August Foodie Bingo promotion forms part of these conditions of entry. Entry into the event is deemed acceptance of these terms and conditions.
  1. The promotion is open to New Zealand residents. Employees of the Promoter and any agency involved with this promotion, including any tenants or retailers at Johnsonville Shopping Centre are prohibited from the promotion.
  1. The promotion times and dates are as follows (year 2024), forming the “Promotional Period”.

  • Thursday 29 August 9am-7pm
  • Friday 30 August 9am-5.30pm
  • Saturday 31 August 9am-5.30pm
  • Sunday 1 September 10am-4.30pm
  • Monday 2 September 9am-5.30pm
  • Tuesday 3 September 9am-5.30pm
  • Wednesday 4 September 9am-5.30pm
  • Thursday 5 September 9am-7pm
  • Friday 6 September 9am-5.30pm
  1. To participate in the promotion, during the Promotional Period a participant must:
    1. Pick up a card from any participating food & beverage store within Johnsonville Shopping Centre during the campaign period.
    2. Collect at least two stamps from food & beverage stores on your Foodie Bingo card. Each purchase = 1 stamp
    3. Please keep your original receipts and ask for a duplicate receipt from the stores to attach to your Foodie Bingo card. The receipts must correspond to the stores where you collected your stamps.
    4. Complete your contact details on the Foodie Bingo card and attach the required receipts. Submit your completed card at our designated drop-off point in Johnsonville Shopping Centre.
  1. Participants may enter and participate in the promotion as many times as they wish. One Foodie Bingo card = One Entry.
  1. The promotion/activity is not transferable, changeable, or redeemable for cash.
  1. Once awarded, the Promoter is not liable for any prize that has been lost, stolen, forged, damaged, or tampered with in anyway.
  1. In the event that the prize becomes unavailable for any reason beyond the Promoter’s control, the Promoter may in its sole discretion decide to provide an alternative activity.
  1. Neither the Promoter nor any other entity associated with this promotion will be responsible for any late, lost, misdirected, corrupted, incomplete, or incorrectly submitted entries or participation, including but not limited to participation not fulfilled due to technical problems or human error.
  1. The Promoter reserves the right to disallow or refuse participation in its absolute discretion and without giving reasons.
  1. The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of and determine the eligibility of participants and to refuse entry to any participant, where false or misleading details have been given by an entrant, or where an entrant has behaved in a fraudulent or dishonest manner, or otherwise than in accordance with these terms and conditions or the spirit of the promotion.
  1. By entering this Promotion, participants agree to the use of their names, photographs and likeness for promotional/advertising purposes without charge and agree to make themselves reasonably available for this purpose. The ensuing copyright will rest with the Promoter, without any claim to compensation from the participants. If you do not want to be photographed, please let the event staff know upon entry.
  1. Participants acknowledge and agree that he, she or they will comply with all instructions given by employees of the Promoter and other agencies associated with this promotion and agree not to do anything that may bring the Promoter into disrepute.
  1. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights.
  1. All decisions made by the Promoter, its employees or agents are final, and no correspondence will be entered into.
  1. The Promoter may amend, suspend, or cancel any aspect of the promotion (including any prize) at any time at its sole discretion.
  1. Except for any liability that cannot be excluded by law, the Promoter (including its officers, directors, shareholders, employees, advisors, assignees, agents, licensees, representatives, advertising and promotional agencies), excludes all liability (including negligence), for any personal injury or any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity), whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of the Promotion, including, but not limited to, where attributable to any of the following: (a) any technical difficulties, equipment malfunction, use of craft activities, reactions to face paint or craft suppliers (whether or not under the Promoter’s control); (b) any theft, unauthorized access or third party interference; (c) any participation that is late, lost, altered, damaged or misdirected ; (d) any variation in the prize or activity; (e) any tax liability incurred by a claimant or entrant; or (f) use of a prize/activity product.
  1. As a condition of participating in the promotion, the participants indemnify the Promoter, all organisers, sponsors and all other persons and organisations associated in any way with the promotion against all claims, damages, liabilities, costs and expenses (including legal fees on a solicitor and client basis) which an entrant may incur arising out of their participation in the promotion and/or using the gift, howsoever caused.
  1. The Promoter collects and holds personal information provided by participants for the purposes of this promotion, and to advise details of further promotions by mail, email or text. Failure to provide requested personal information may disqualify a person from being able to receive a gift. All personal information provided by entrants will be held by the Promoter at the address specified in clause 27 below. Under the Privacy Act 1993, entrants have the right to access and correct any such personal information. Entrants may access and request correction of any of the details about them held by the Promoter by sending an email to info@johnsonvilleshoppingcentre.co.nz
